How to measure your dog in 3 minutes
You need a sewing tape measure (or a piece of string and a ruler) and, if possible, someone to give them a treat. Measure with your dog standing and calm.
Harness
- Chest: Wrap the tape around the chest just behind the front legs, at the widest point. It should sit snugly without squeezing.
- Back length: Measure along the top of the back, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
- Between two sizes: Choose the larger one.
- The rear piece is the same for males and females: there’s nothing to choose.
- If they can’t stand, measure them lying on their side by passing the tape underneath and send us the measurements: we’ll help you choose.
